Common Ringneck For 2007 we raised and released 500 ringneck hens. 250 on our own farm. One problem with releasing ringnecks is that they are notorious wanderers. Though they have this trait, about 30-40 hens stayed on our farm and are wild as can be. For 2008 we will be releasing a total of 1000 roosters for you to chase. |

Melanistic Mutant For 2007 we raised but did not release 25 melanistic pheasants. We plan on using these birds for breeding. They act just like a ringneck except they are not as inclined to cannabalize each other like ringnecks do. A very beautiful bird, you will have a chance to harvest a few of these at our farm. Until you have the bird in your hands its almost impossible to appreciate the beautiful irredescent colors. |

Bobwhite Quail For 2007 we raised 200 quail. With three wild coveys already residing on our farm we did not release any here this year. However, we did release them on surrounding properties. They are a joy to raise. You will have a chance to shoot a few quail when you come to our farm in 2008. A challanging and very tasty bird. |

Manchurian Pheasant The Manchurian Cross Ringneck is the offspring of a male Pure Manchurian and a female Chinese Ringneck. The Pure Manchurians were imported as eggs directly from the fields of China. These birds have great naturally wild characteristics which are seen not only in their physical appearance, but in their performance as well. For those looking to propagate their land, the Manchurian Cross chicks and mature birds are a perfect fit. These birds have been known to roost in trees at night to avoid predation. |
